Call for Workshops

Overview

We are now inviting proposals for workshops to be held at ICIDS 2023 in Kobe, Japan to be held on Sunday. November 12, 2023

Workshops afford participants a smaller, more intimate setting at the general conference where they can share ideas and learn from each other’s research. The limited seating capacity and relaxed atmosphere allow for interpersonal interaction.

Workshops are of half-day length and vary in format and topic. However, we do encourage workshop organisers to consider our theme this year, Traversing Boundaries, Barriers, and Borders, and consider its relevance in terms of the workshop proposals. (More about the theme is available on the general CFP for ICIDS 2022, available at https://icids2023.ardin.online/call). Otherwise, workshops should be organised around topics relevant to the ICIDS community to engage them in relevant issues and to support future research. As in previous years, individual workshop contributions will not be published in the ICIDS 2023 proceedings. However, workshop organizers are encouraged to publish the work via other means and venues if it seems suitable.

Deadline

Workshop proposals and inquiries should be submitted via email to icids2023-ws@ardin.online by October 8, 2022.

What to Submit

Proposals for workshops should be 2-4 pages including references in the Springer LNCS format. Please include the following information:

  1. A brief description of the workshop, explaining its format, goals, topic, and expected outcomes (maximum two pages, according to the LNCS format).
  2. A proposed schedule
  3. The names, affiliations, and email addresses of the proposed organizing committee.
  4. The primary contact for the organizing committee.
